Ways to pay
With Deceased Online you can pay to view records in three ways: Monthly or annual subscription and pay as you view vouchers.
We have streamlined the way you can view and download burial and cremation records.
We have eliminated the bonus system in favour of a better value monthly subscription option. Please note, if you had bonus credits previously, these have been converted into a pay per view voucher balance.
New monthly subscription
We are introducing a new monthly rolling subscription plan. This plan gives you the option of a more affordable way of viewing burial and cremation records.
The rolling monthly subscription fee is £9.99 for 15 standard views, which equates to 67p per view. This is cheaper than our current cost for pay per view purchases, which can be seen in our pricing schedule.
If you have an active subscription, you will have the option to buy a top up if you run out of views in a month. The top up is priced at £9.99 for 15 views. You can buy as many top ups a month as you need. This works out cheaper than buying pay per view vouchers and is beneficial if there are many records you wish to view. If you have any balance remaining on a pay per view voucher you will not be able to top up your subscription until this balance is zero.
With the new rolling monthly subscription, you can view burial and cremation records and scans of the burial/cremation book pages. You also have access to the more detailed searches. Maps and headstone photographs are not included in this price, and you will need to purchase a pay as you view voucher to view these. Maps are subject to licencing laws, and photographs of headstones/memorials are subject to VAT as the actual headstones/memorials are also subject to VAT.
Within an active rolling subscription, any unused views will roll over and these roll over for 12 months, so the greatest number of views accrued unused is 180 views. Your accrued views will then stay at 180 until you use any.
If you choose to cancel your subscription, your accrued views will still be available until the end of your subscription period.
Records which have been paid for will still be available to you for viewing for 12 months in all cases, even if you cancel your subscription, as long as you do not delete your account. If you delete your account, you will no longer have access to any of the records you have purchased previously, and you will need to make a new account with a new email address if you wish to rejoin Deceased Online.
We recommend that you download and save any images you might wish to revisit, before the 12-month deadline.
New annual subscription
If you would prefer to purchase our annual subscription, this is £99 for 250 standard views. This equates to 40p per view. With the annual subscription you can view any of the standard records within this time.
If you have an active subscription, you will have the option to buy a top up if you run out of views, this is £5.99 for an additional 15 views. You can buy as many top ups as you need. This works out cheaper than buying pay per view vouchers and is beneficial if there are many records you wish to view.
As with the monthly subscription, any records you view will have a 12-month expiry. Please download or save the records you wish to keep.
Maps and headstone photographs are not included in this price, and you will need to purchase a pay as you view voucher to view these. Maps are subject to licencing laws, and photographs of headstones/memorials are subject to VAT as the actual headstones/memorials are also subject to VAT.
If you choose to cancel your subscription, your views will still be available until the end of your subscription period.

Pay-per-view vouchers
With pay-per-view vouchers you pay only for the items you want to see.
To use the pay-per-view system you purchase vouchers online using your credit or debit card. As soon as the voucher values are added to your account, you will be sent an email receipt and notification that you have 12 months in which to use the vouchers before they expire.
Each time you wish to view an item you will be told the cost to view it. As you view the item your account balance will be reduced accordingly. If you have already viewed an item, then you may re-view it without further charge for 12 months after initial viewing.
We recommend that you download and save any images you might wish to revisit, before the 12-month deadline.
Any unspent balances from your voucher total will be cleared at their 12-month expiry.
You will be sent an email reminding you of your impending voucher expiry two days before expiry.
You can pay using any major credit or debit card.
