Brockley Cemetery records
now on Deceased Online

Brockley, with conjoined Ladywell cemetery, (records already available on www.deceasedonline.com) is one of South London's cemetery jewels with a wide range of fascinating records dating back to 1858.

As you'll see from the pictures below, Brockley Cemetery is a beautiful, peaceful oasis yet only a few miles from the gleaming towers of Canary Wharf and the Isle of Dogs. It's not surprising that such a wonderful place should be home to many graves of notable Victorian and early 20th Century Londoners.

Brockley Cemetery open day

To mark the inclusion of Brockley and Ladywell Cemeteries' records on www.deceasedonline.com, the London Borough of Lewisham Council has organised an open day on Saturday, 17th October, 11.00 to 15.00. The Friends of Brockley and Ladywell Cemeteries will be organising a tour of the cemetery at approximately 13.30 and will have a stall in the chapel with information about the history of and notable people associated with the cemeteries.

Deceased Online will also be present in the chapel demonstrating the records for Brockley and Ladywell and the other Lewisham Council cemeteries and crematorium. For further details and updates on the Brockley Cemetery open day, follow us on Facebook or visit the Lewisham Council website.
