Kildalton Kirkyard, Isle of Islay, Western Isles

Kildalton Parish Church and Kiryard is located in a remote part of the historic Isle of Islay in the Western Isles of Scotland. It is famous for the 8th Century Kildalton Cross, regarded as one of the finest ancient monuments in Scotland and one of the best examples of a Celtic Cross in the British Isles.

Photographs and inscriptions of the legible headstones and memorials in the kirkyard are now available in the database and these include approximately 100 names.
