Approximately 16,000 burial records, from two Gloucestershire cemeteries dating back to 1872 are now available in the form of burial register and burial paper scans. Cemetery maps showing the section in which a grave is located are also available.

The records we have for viewing are from the following cemeteries:

  • Chesterton Cemetery: records from May 1872 to 2021
  • Stratton Cemetery: records from July 1888 to 2021

There is also a selection of war grave burial records found in Chesterton Cemetery, dating from 1940.

Digital burial records are available dating from 2012 to 2021 for Chesterton and Stratton cemeteries. Digital records include name, place of burial, burial date, date of death, grave reference, and age.

Note: to comply with UK data protection and GDPR, addresses of the deceased are masked in burial register scans for the last 15 years.
