Rugby is a town located in the heart of England, home to over 114,400 residents, as recorded at the time of the 2021 census.

Many of the original scans for Rugby's municipal cemeteries, contain details such as occupation and address of the deceased, and sometimes cause of death, which can offer additional interest. We also have the Rainsbrook Crematorium records available to purchase, dating from the opening of the crematorium in 2014. Please note, not all original scans contain occupation, address and cause of death, and newer digital records do not include any accompanying handwritten records. 

The records we have available to view are from the following cemeteries and crematorium:

 

• Clifton Road Cemetery: over 19000 records dating from 1863 to 2021
• Croop Hill Cemetery: over 4800 records dating from 1914 to 2021
• Watts Lane Cemetery: almost 3000 records dating from 1930 to 2021
• Whinfield Cemetery: almost 7000 records dating from 1940 to 2021
• Rainsbrook Crematorium: over 7000 records dating from 2014 to 2021

Note: to comply with UK data protection and GDPR, addresses of the deceased are masked in register scans for the last 15 years.
